Natalie Safe Driving School will find a Road Test as fast as you need and date and time that is more comfortable for you.
Our instructors will adapt to you're driving abilities and will find an interesting and educational way to teach you.
You must have a valid driver license to drive legally in New York State. If you reside in and hold a
valid license from another state or nation, you can
drive legally in New York State. However, even if
you are licensed somewhere else, people under
age 16 cannot drive in New York State. For the NYS Driver license fill form MV-44 https://dmv.ny.gov/forms/mv44.pdf
5 Steps How to obtain NY Driving License.
STEP 1. (Get a Permit.)
Bring those document with you to DMV.
* At least one proof of your Date Of Birthday.
* Social Security Card
* Prove that you are NY resident
* Prove of Identification
* Application can be filled out at the DMV or Printed and filled out at home
* If you are under 18 you will need to bring parent or guardian with you.
You will need to take a picture and a vision test.
Once you complete those things, you will be taking a permit test.
After the test have been passed you will need to pay the fee 68$-120$
You will receive temperary permit paper on the spot.
Congratulations! You're permit card will arrive at you're mailing address in 5-7 business days.
Step 2. 5 hours Pre-Licensing class.
Once you receive your permit, you will need to complete a 5 hours pre-licensing class and receive a certificate. (contact Natali's Safe Driving School for additional information)
Step 3. Practice.
Practice Your driving skills on the road.
Natali's Safe Driving School will be happy to tech you! (press and information about school is provided below.)
Step 4. Road test appointment.
Once you feel ready and confident enough to take the Road Test, Natali's Safe Driving School will make an appointment and provide you with a vehicle.
Step 5. Road test.
Bring your 5 hours certificate and you're permit card. If you are under 18 don't forget to bring Parent/Guardian permission (you can find it on DMV web site)
Take the Road test and pass it.
Once you pass you will receive a receipt with your points and mistakes that you need to work on.
Congratulations! You passed you're Road test. In a about 2 weeks you will receive you drivers license.
